prayers please

Brothers and Sisters...I need your prayers. My youngest daughter Courtney, who is 20 years old is getting married tomorrow. The guy she is marrying, is an ok guy but he just got out of jil, and neither ofthem have thier life anywher near together. Joe was in jail for an alchol violation, he got put on probation for peeing in public and disorderly conduct, then messed up with the parole officer, and the violated him. He just spent 6 months in the county lockup.He works out of the local laborers union an when he has work makes good money.

I pleaded with Courtney to wait a year or at least 6 months to see if he can pull his life together and she is going to cosmotolgy school, to make she has things together. I know they party and drink, so I cn see this end up being a big mess. This marriage is not one that God has brought to gther. Maybe she is going to have to go through this to grow, I dont know.. all I can see is a train wreck happening. I pray that I am wrong, but ...Her mom wont have anything to do with her, so she i not going to the wedding, So as you see I need your prayers for my daughter and the young man she is marrying.. they need God first in their lives, and they need Him now...thanks everyone qnd sorry i started to rant some...God Bles...brian

Brian. I understand why your upset, but remember we must accept what we are powerless to change. Just be there for her, she will need you. Have you thought that perhaps with your being reborn again Christian that God has given you a challenge, maybe you can make a difference in this young mans life, perhaps even safe it.

Brian, we will pray that God will do a miracle and bring both your daughter and her husband to a new relationship with the Lord.

Heavenly Father, we lift up Courtney to you and her new husband to be. We ask that you would bless this union. We ask that you would do a miracle in this young couple's life and show yourself in a very real way to them. Cause them to seek you and hunger after you. Turn their hearts back to you. We also ask that you'd bring peace to this father, who does want only the best for his daughter. Bless him and comfort him. Show him that you can work ALL things for good for those who believe. May he stand on your promises and not grow weary. May he find his hope and joy in you. May he be an example and role model for his daughter. Bless this family we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
