When the devel trys to push me away from the lord he only pushes me toward the lord and makes me at the devel!!! And is it a sin to talk to the devil??? Even if your yelling at him???
I love Jesus with all my hear and if it weren't for him I probably wouldent be here today. Because the devel is trying so dam hard to tear me down to make me feel like I'm not worthy of Gods love. Sure he's making me feel worthless but he's only pushing me towards God and making even more mad at the devil everyday!!!! Because I know it's the devil doing this to me!!!! So though the devil os trying so hard to make walk away from the Lord he's only making me walk further towards the lord.

When someone is possessed by the devil you are not supposed to pay attention to what it says or ask it any questions. But under normal situations I read you can talk to it. I'm in a Confraternity and I have a special devotion so I say 'In the name of Holy Love begone Satan!' and he is supposed to flee when you say it. It works pretty good for me. Good luck.
I agree with many of the suggestions. It's also good to pray the "Our Father," and at the part "Deliver us from evil," really believe it and mean it when you pray it.
Also, asking St. Michael the Archangel to rebuke the enemy. He cast the evil angels into eternal fire in the beginning, and continues to do so.
It is not good to be conversing with the enemy. Don't give them the time of day.
"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." James: 4:7

The awful things people you hang out with say to you, the awful thoughts you have about yourself, the unkind beliefs you have about yourself, severely sexual/violent/horror/etc. movies and music and pictures, etc. These give the devil a foothold, and they crush your self-esteem and faith, and can be a BIG part of peoples depression. Really internalizing the Bible, especially about God's Love, Mercy, Compassion and Forgiveness -- toward YOU -- will help. Councelling will help. If there is some kind of bodily imbalance or deficiency, treatment will help.
Pat Robertson once mentioned on the 700 Club that there was a boy that became possessed just due to going to a horror movie. Buying the ticket, walking into the theater, and submitting to watch the movie -- he gave consent to the enemy. That's what Pat said.
Pat also mentioned that there was an African guru or similar, and he asked of rock music, "why do you call on the demons?" (or similar statement). So he could see the affect violent music *can* have on the enemy and us.
I've personally noticed in the past how typical radio music can really affect my mood and thoughts in a very bad way.
There is a "Dr Leaf" on the web, and she talks about the awful affect negative thoughts can have on our health.
"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things." Philippians 4:8

I agree- the Lord is the One to rebuke Satan and I thank you for referencing the example of the archangel. Satan being the prince of the power of the air and the god of this world is a powerful foe, too strong for us, but greater is He Who is in us than he that is in the world. And as you say, it is our job to put on the whole armor of God in our combat against the evil one. The Lord will rebuke Satan and he will be punished for his crimes against God's children.
Amen! God wins in the end and the devil will be thrown into the lake of fire forever and forever.

It would be a good idea to read Ephesians 6: 10-17 every morning, especially when you are feeling attacked and put on your whole armor!
Then find others that will help and pertains to your situation. Here's a few to get started:

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. I have a different view. The bible tells me I have power over him in the name of Jesus. Tho I do need to live a life that would not give the devil power to come in, I also have the power, by the blood of jesus to tell him to get lost too. How can you command satan in the name of god to leave you and your house alone if you do not think you have power over him in the name of Jesus. I believe in all the gifts of the spirit as Jesus said the day he ascended that he left the holy spirit and we were to carry on and do all the things like he did in the name of jesus and by the power of the holy spirit. We do not need to be defeated. We can take control over demons in the name of jesus and by the power of the holy spirit. We claim victory in his name.
You know, I've always wondered about this one. In Jude 1:8,9 "In the very same way, these dreamers pollute their own bodies, reject authority and slander celestial beings. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
It appears to say here that we are not to accuse the devil or get into anything with him but rather let the Lord deal with him. At least, that's what I understand from this.
However, I have at times gone through my house and annointed the doors, etc. with olive oil and claimed the house for the Lord outloud and have said if there were any evil beings present they needed to live in Jesus name because my house belongs to the Lord.
I've been told that if the devil is attacking to quote scriptures outloud because that always shuts him up. There's power in God's Word and he can't fight it. Jesus himself did this when the devil was tempting him in the desert.

It is true as we try to get closer to God,the devil preys more on us and our weaknesses.

I have been known to go outside, walk all the way around my house, pleading the blood and demanding Satan leave. I have even been known to open the door and plead the blood and demand he leave Gods sanctuary. LOL You should have seen the look on the neighbors face! Priceless!
