My ex girlfriend had cervical cancer, will my new girlfriend get I too?

My ex-girlfriend had cervical cancer a year prior to me meeting her. She had surgery for it. She was 25 and I was 20 when we had unprotected sex. We have been seperated for 9 months and have not had sex in that amount of time. I have a new girlfriend and I'm wondering if I have sex with her if she will contract cervical cancer, she is a virgin.

If your ex. had HPV which is the cause of most cervical cancer... Then it is possible you can transmit it to your new gf...HPV is a std...its very common and easily transmitted.. Go get tested at your doctor or your local health department.
