Abilify was likely prescribed because of a diagnosis of juvenile-onset Bipolar Disorder. This is a somewhat controversial issue in pediatric mental health. Be that as it may, he does require mental health services, including pharmacological treatment. Abilify may not be the best choice, however, and an evaluation with a child psychiatrist as a second opinion would be prudent. An alternative treatment would be risperidone.
Sounds to me he loves attention one way or another. Tough love, and more of it. As long as you are doing everything you can, and thinking outside the box...Then that is all you can do, and show him love...Always communicate what he does wrong, and when he does right...none of that baby talk...Explain to him, set up a system, always follow through..no threats at All! He is depending on you, and you have to stand your ground, do not show no signs of breaking down. You will do fine..your his mom and he loves he is 3 years old and this is a big world we live in, and all he can depend on is you.
