My toddler won't eat..

Hello, My son is 21 months old, hes 23 pounds and tall for his age. The nutritionist said he is 100% being underweight. Well, he's very active but he wont eat anything at all maybe a few bites here and there. I give him pedisure during the day, and milk at night. My question is what can I do to get him to eat. and please don't tell me that "he will eat when he's hungry" because he doesn't I hear his stomach growling and he still doesn't eat. Please help me, I feel like I'm a bad mother, but I know I'm not.

To a great extent, Mother Nature will take care of this, even though that is not what you want to hear. Be sure of course to have him evaluated by his pediatrician, who may order some tests to be sure that his metabolism is ok and there are no endocrine problems. If he checks out medically, you really do not need to worry.

What kind of test, i mean he eats there, and here but he has to be distracted to eat. Thank you for your help. I'll talk to his doctor.
