my 16yr old daughter is sending me over th adge

my daughter is being very violent to me,if thing dont go her way or something not gone right she takes it out of me,she as beaten me up an on thurs she tryed pushing me down stairs after kneeing me in my leg then she pushed me an i sliped down a few steps,then an hour later when she was on the phone the other person hung up on her an she took it out of me by kicking me quiet a few times on my bad leg,my own mum says she is really going to harm me(my daughter this is)she also smashers my house up,my daughter see someone but she tells them she as not done anything an its me that gets on to her for nothing,i am at my wits end,i am already depressed an on medication an dont want to carrie on like this

It is likely your daughter displays either Bipolar Disorder or a serious conduct disorder/personality disorder. If she displays Bipolar Disorder she will require medication as well as therapy. You have to set a firn limit on aggression. If you 'allow' yourself to be mistreated the way you do, the behavior will not stop. At the first sign of aggression you should summon the police. In addition, there is likely something seriously amiss in the parent/daughter interaction, and you should seek help for yourself as well.

Therapy alone will not solve this. Arrange an appointment with a psychiatrist so that your daughter can be prescribed medication.

thank you for your answer,my daughter already see's a child an adolescent psychotherapist an they say they is nothing wrong with her,so dont know what to do next
