Your son's height is at the 75th percentile for his age and his weight is just under the line of the 75th percentile for his age. He is normal for his age. If he is eating enough milk and cheese in a day, then he is getting enough protein. I would be more concerned that he may not be getting enough iron sources from his diet from what you stated. Suggest a daily multi-vitamin with iron. Brain development, at this age, needs glucose from carbohydrates and he is getting protein. Research has shown that a no sugar / dairy diet really has any affect on the behavior of A.D.D children. Treatment is behavioral methods and medications, if necessary.
Thank-You so much!! Ths was great news for me to see as I do keep working w/my son as far as a more balanced diet and working through his bit of trouble staying focused. He is very co-operatve as far as school and learning techniques. I was trying to see if it was possible to enhance things for him. I will work w/ the iron.
Again, my sincere thanks--deb
Truly my concern is my 15 year old son's growth and development. He was tested at the age of 12 for A.D.D. He has it slightly, not enough to "classify" him in school, I have read that fish oil helps this particular deficiency. I was wondering if true and what dosage would be appropriate.
Thank-You for asking his age and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank-you, deb whitehouse
