Any suggestions that work?

I am very concerned about my daughters weight gain, she is 3 ft 9 in and 83lbs, it worries me as there is severe obesity on both sides, is there any suggestions on things that work but so she isn't deprived, kids do make fun of her and it hurts! Thank you

My suggestion to you would be to keep her as active as possible.  Enroll her in activites she enjoys such as swimming, gymnastics, soccer, etc... And offer healthy foods.  Try to make well balanced meals and talk to her about nutrition and the importance of having a healthy lifestyle.  My daughter is 5, 45inches and 64lbs and is on the same track as yours and I am just trying to keep her active and hope she will eventually out grow it.  I hope that helps a little.
