Hi Jessica.
You may need to go a little deeper, unless, you're looking for medication to mange your symptoms better.
Look into gluten intolerance, tartaric acid (a muscle toxin which feeds off carbs from YOUR diet) interfering with malic acid levels which are vital for metabolic processes, low thyroid and or low adrenal function.
I looked at your profile and you may want to look into Ovarian-Adrenal-Thyroid- Axis (OAT) imbalance.
And if you find that this resonates with you and makes sense, then please consider to see a knowledgeable functional medicine doctor or ND who has training in this field.
For more details regarding this field of medicine, FYI look into the Kalish Method or Kalish Institiute.
Please note that my comments are not intended as a replacement for medical advice.
Best wishes.
Niko
I've had these problems for a while. I complained to my primary care MD about everything and he did some blood tests stool samples ect. and only referred me to a neurologist. How would I be checked for (OAT) imbalance ?
OAT imbalance will not be looked into by conventional Endocrinologists.
That's why I suggested a knowledgeable Functional Medicine Doctor or ND who has training in this field.
And if you take the time to checkout the Kalish Method or Kalish Institute, you will get a better idea.
Take care,
Nick
