Thankyou for your reply . I am on daily 75mg aspirin,Brilique 90 mg twice a day, ivabradine 5mg twice a day, isosorbide mononitrate half tablet once a day and ramipril 1.25 mg a day.my cardiologist said that the significant lesion in my lad would be more than 50% calcified he seemed a bit concerned about that. I was just wondering what can be done would it have to be stented?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Definitely the report shows atheroma and diffuse disease in the coronary vessels.  Restenosis - the re-narrowing of a coronary artery - occurs within 3 – 6 months in 40 – 50% of patients who have angioplasty. So after restenting, you need to get prescribed antiplatelet drugs like he drugs abciximab and eptifabatide. Also do exercise daily as suggested by your cardiologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Any damage to our hearts is serious, and I have also had a stent become blocked because I had done nothing to actually treat my coronary artery disease.  If you do a web search for "plant-based coronary diet" and spend some time researching and learning, you will find the things I am now doing that have begun making a tremendous difference for me.
