Slow healing after double eyelid surgery

I had a non-incision double eyelid surgery a month ago. It is suppose to heal within a month. However, one of my eyes is still very swollen after a month while the other had healed completely. Now my eyes look very weird and uneven. My dr said the swelling would subside within a month during the first review. Now one month is over, he said it should subside after another 3 weeks. Is it normal for my eye to take such a long time to heal or the stitching is not done properly for this eye?

Thanks for your fast reply. My double eyelid surgery was done using the scarless eyelid technique (stitching 3 points on each eyelid). I would like to know if it is common for my eyelid to heal much slower than the estimated time for normal people.

You are clearly having a healing problem on one side.  IT is impossible to determine that exact nature of the problem without information about the details of the technique used and a direct examination.  I have no specific suggestions except close follow-up with your physician, who should be in the best position to evaluate your problem.
