I have been diagnosed for about 1 year with morphea (localised scleroderma) on my left breast and my (sizable 36HH) left breast shows signs of morphea over a fairly large area of the breast with depigmentation of the nipple and some altering of the shape and hang of my breast. I have no other evidence of morphea/sclero anywhere on my body. After children I have that hated droopy belly which is affecting my confidence such that I have to hide in clothes that are not 'me'! and have been seriously considering a tummy tuck with liposuction. Is there any additional risk to me on the localised morphea spreading to areas affected by tummy tuck/lipo surgery??? The appearance of the original morphea had nothing to do with surgery, trauma or radiation but we believe is a result of some kind of auto-immune issue. Desperately seeking professional advice....
