For 4 months, I have had pain in my lower right abdomen next to my belly button. I ONLY feel this pain while i swallow food. It doesnt hurt my throat to swallow. I had one endo/colonoscopy which showed signs of gastritis and doudenitis. I went for a second opinion after the first doctor did not care that I was still having the pain after months on famoditine.
The second doctor did a CT scan and found small bowel enteritis consistent with crohns disease. I have a second colonoscopy to have biopsies of the infected area.
My question is this: why would my crp and esr be normal but I have thickening of my small intestine? Does this mean that I do not have crohns after all?
