DOES THIs SOUND LIKE CHRON'S???

I had 3 months of waking up to the feeling of someone squeezing my intestines -- seemed like gas build up then a year having bouts of constipation and diarrea but not enough to realize it until i looked back. (ive always had a senstive stomach so it didn't seem abnormal) Then in June I had mild/severe cramping around my belly button and then diarrhea everytime i went to the bathroom.  I was exhausted and fatigued and bones/joints started hurting. Then as suddenly as it started it stopped and for the past month i have had problems with constipation but with it comes mucous and sometimes only mucous. The past three weeks i have also have been waking up to the feeling of someone squeezing my intestines once agian. My stomach often hurts around the belly button and it is very noisy and my joint pain is worse than ever. HELP!

I just went through this.  I went to the doctor and they told me I had what is called C-Diff.  For three months I had stomach pain and I would run to the restroom and when I would go it would be really loose and have mucus and even sometimes just mucus.  Right before I went to the doctor, I noticed blood.  Well when I went to the doctor they did a stool test and it came back postive for C-Diff.  They put me on Metronidazle 500 mg 3 times a day.  Well I just ended that treatment 3 weeks ago and I noticed just a few days ago my syptoms are coming back! Get to the doctor! They will be able to help!

I really think you should get this checked out and soon as you could have a blockage. It's hard to say at this point.
Joint pain can be associated with Crohns but mucous is not usually associated with it. It can be but it's not as common. Mucous usually means a fat malabsorption, your body is not able to absorb fat very well. It can mean other things, too, though.
Please go to your doctor as soon as possible. You really need to get this checked out. Take care.
