I'm dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis induced by Crohns. The doctor told me if my Crohns goes into remission the arthritis would go away with out any disfiguartion to joints. Right now I'm taking an NSAID Lodine. It has been working for me. Most days the paid is in most joints, making it difficult to to very much. But when I take Lodine it removes the edge off the pain so I can function. My doctor also told me to watch for intestinal bleeding and this medicine is not that potent and she didn't expect it to work...So glad it did.
thx everybody....my scope didnt go so well i will find more tomarrow guess resection is inlammed and coming apart have u guys heard of this crap?????
Consult a rheumatologist pls. Besides that look into your diet. Keep your intake of processed food at the minimum. Going back to basic food cooked by your grandma might help. Over time you will see for yourself.
I agree with Sechmeth... diet change can be a great way to manage symptoms and SCD seems to help, fingers crossed! You may have to work with many docs before you find one who fits with what you need, good luck!
Have you tried a diet change? There is a diet which is known to reduce general inflammation throughout the body, as well as to reduce the symptoms of crohns. It is called the special carbohydrate diet.
Good luck!
I have been very fortunate to have my PC doc help me with my pain. When he is out of options he refers me to others. He has helped the most though.
I hope you can find that person to help you. You can always get second opinions too:)
I wish you the best!! It is horrible to have pain out of control.
