Bubble on inner lip

Hello, yesterday I felt what seemed to be like a really really small bubble on my inner lip, It was not painful or anything , it was too small to even find on the mirror it took me about 2 minutes with major lighting to locate it , I then popped it with my teeth and it felt like a bubble pop but after I popped It I felt a slight slight pain for about 5 seconds and that was it , pain might have been just anxiety or something, after that it was even harder to locate it since it was really small, what could it be ? Could it be an std ? I might have felt the fluid when I popped it but I'm not sure since it was really small but I sure did not see any fluid , and if it is an std what std would it be ? I barely kiss or even make out and never give oral sex ??

Not as common an area for oral cancer.  As an STD, it doesn't ring any bells for me but I don't treat STDs on a normal basis.  I would recommend going to your physician and getting it checked out.

How did it get bigger?  As in, you feel a bigger bump underneath?

I would also like to add that I am a heavy smoker if that matters.

So it doesn't change in size or pop anymore?  It might have been a mucocele.  Its a small cyst-like thing on lower lips.  Usually caused by biting on the lower lip, its due to a severed salivary gland.  Usually you'll have a surgeon basically pop it and remove it so that it can heal properly.  But it seems like you did it on your own.  I would keep an eye on it and if there's any changes, I would go see your physician or dentist.  When's your  next checkup?
