Good to hear. Keep that tongue healthy. =)
Just to let you know i went to my doctors (I was passing and had some free time so thought id make an apointment) and all is fine :)
The doctor actully said i have quite a healthy tongue
Just like to say another Thanks though :)
Ah ok :)
I have been trying to brush them off etc but i will stop that now and let time take its course
And on my next local Check-up i will bring it up if there still bothering me
Thanks for all the help
Nope, perfectly normal and natural. Just leave them alone. You may be creating irritation or problems by poking them, etc.
But I always recommend seeing a dentist and bringing it up because I can't diagnose and tell you for sure what it is.
Hey, After looking at a few more images on the internet i also believe that they are filiform papillae...
Ive been looking for why they have appeared etc and what to do to get rid of them but cant find any information (Sometimes the internet just doesnt have what you want :P)
I was wondering if you knew why they have appeared (They mave have been there all along but ive only just noticed them) and if theres anyway to get rid of them?
Or shall i just leave it and let time do the work :)
Thanks
I'm not sure. You may want to check with your dentist. I don't see anything from the images you posted.
They look like filiform papillae which are completely normally little bumps on the tongue.
Hey i have also noticed some bumps on my tongue, Except there more of a grey colour...

As you can see its just in the middle of the tongue? When i try scrapping it off i just get a wierd flem but the spots still stay (Some times you can see each individuale spot slightly rasied)
What do you think it is doc?? (Please reply)
Its hard to say. Any other symptoms?
You may want to see your dentist for a proper checkup and evaluation as soon as possible. They may want to biopsy the white spots to look under a microscope to see what's going on.
