Slit in gum

I have a front right tooth that was broken almost 45 yrs ago, along w/ the tooth next to it chipped. I went thru about 3 caps/crowns, and now have like a bridge on the 2 (permanant). I've had 3 root canals on this area.
Yesterday afternoon, I felt something on my gum between the 2 "teeth". It was a little bump w/ little blood and pus. It actually felt like something might be stuck in there, or working it's way out. It could even have been cut by a recent toothbrush I got that had a "gum stimulator" and another attachment on it that was for cleaning around crowns and bridges. Today, it's a very tiny slit, w/ just a little pus. I'm using warm salt water and listerine.
