How often is ECT done?  Can it be done two days in a row?

J answered your question correctly...the frequency depends on the kind and the condition. But if you are considering shock treatment you should be sure to get a second opinion from a neutral and experienced psychiatrist.

Hi

I'm no expert on this subject.  What I do know came from an obsession on the subject after being threatened with, but not given it.  Thankfully I've forgotten lots of the data.

ect is usually given three times per week (over a period of several weeks).
I don't know if it is given sequelly over two days.  I'm sure it could be done, but would that be advisable?  Probably not!

The total number of sessions and sessions per week, etc would be largely dependent on the individual, their condition, and input from their treatment team.

I hope that helps.
