This is a very common problem during the teenage years. It sounds to me as if your problem is quite intense and that means you should see a professional therapist like a psychiatrist or psychologist to help you sort this out and possibly to help you with medications. Talk to your parents or your family doctor to help arrange this. Maybe your school counselor could help.

Sounds like you might be suffering from a form of OCD ..well at least the Obsession part.
I often have a racing mind and dwell over my thoughts.  Most of the time it's worry over things that will never happen or I make a mountain out of a mole hill.  It becomes very tiresome and use a lot of my energy.  I am now on Prozac (for the second time) and have begun CBT to help.

You are not crazy and I agree wioth Jaquta you should definately talk with someone to find out what is the  cause of your bothersome thoughts.  Could be an imbalance or some underlying issues.

The thoughts will continue to bother you until you work through them.  It would be wise to talk to a parent (or teacher or school counselor, or doctor, etc) so that they can direct you or help you work through some of the problems.
I find thinking about stuff excessively often relates to not having done something perfectly or having something differ to how I would like or expect it to be.  Procrastinating and not solving problems can also do this.

Talk to someone.  They may be able to help.
