passing out

Hello.
Im a 23 year old female, im active, weigh 120, and love the outdoors.
I have the weirdest question, and im on here, to do so because my
doctor can not give me a answer.
It first happen 2 years ago, i was eating dinner at my in-laws at the time
and i was very full... it was a christmas dinner and i decided to take a brake
from eating because i was gettin very full. All of a sudden (I DONT REMEMBER ANY OF
THIS THEY TOLD ME WHAT HAPPEN) I rubbed my hands into my potatoes, my eyes
rolled to the back of my head, my ears were ringing and hurt, and then i fell right off my
chair (they caught me) and i was SOAKED and i mean SOAKED in sweat... after i woke up
about 1 min. they said i was out, and i didnt know what had happen.
This also happen about 8 months after but a total different situation...
It was a warm sunny day, just hanging out with the family, and i had a BAD sliver in my
hand and i asked my dad to get it out for me, so he was trying to get it out and as i was
sitting on the chair, the same thing happen, only, my arms were waving in the air, and i was
SOAKED, once agian in sweat.
Now the reason why im asking is last night, i was opening my fridge door, and hit my thumb
a weird way, and bent it back really HARD, it hurt like a bugger so i fell to the floor, and then
got a weak/stomich pain, then my ears started to ring, and i thought i was going to pass out,
it was most of the same symtoms that happen to me, the other 2 times, but what is this? and
why?? I need some answers, im so scared, and i dont have a doctor anymore at the moment..
HELP!!! Alicia

Don't forget to see your doctor.  It's important to get a professional medical evaluation and not just a self-diagnosis.

Best wishes.

I was at a national sports training camp when one of the girls ate more than she usually would have and passed out.  So I'm told anyway, I didn't actually see that.

I would also encourage you to see a doctor (and preferably not the same 'crazy lady').
I was wondering if it could be something like vagal vaso syncope.  I'm not sure if I got that right but sometimes people can pass out due to emotional stress and/ or pain.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
there are many possibilities, most of them being physical, not psychological....you need a work up that includes neurological as well as blood sugar etc.....they probably won't find anything, but you must do that to be sure... there are atypical seizure disorders to consider.

I'm not the doctor here, but you need a doctor.  At the least, you have to eliminate blood sugar and seizures as a possibility.
