eye spots

hi there doctor
i posted in detail about me eye symptoms below ...

for about eight years i have been these strange moncular spots in each eye (about 20 episodes in total) where i notice a bright spot in one eye, which then become a kind of grey blob that slowly fades over weeks or a month maybe into a small permanent scotoma.

if you could please, when you get time, have a look at my post further down the page where i have elaborated my concern, that would be great.

i guess the gist of my question is, could the brain really create a symptom soooo specific?

I don't know if the brain could cause this, but certainly the eye tissue and various parts of the eye mechanism could cause such a phenomenon.  The question for you to get answered is whether there is some physical defect that can be seen by an opthamologist, or is this a temporary vascular phenomenon  mediated by stress that isn't a danger sign, or if this is indication of an eye disease. Only your opthamologist can answer these questions.

i have seen numerous opthalmologists and they can't find anything to explain my symptoms. just thought it might be stress-related because it often occurs after a period of severe anxiety.
