zopiclone/rhovane

For the past 15 years or more I have suffered from insomnia.

Relief came and changed my world in the form of Immovane prescribed at my Dr. at the time. Since about 1991 I have been using this medication off and on. The last 5 years I have been diagnosed clinically depressed and have done work with a psychiatrist etc. I have been on a 600mg. dose of serazone
for over 2 years now. with some good results. I have also included light therapy at the recommendation of my therapist.
Also with some good results. My main problem is still, sleeping.I have tried generic? APO zopiclone, and rhovane. Rhovane worked relatively well enough that I was able to get sleep.I take something each night as my mind goes +goes etc. and I do not sleep especially since taking antidepressants.NOW
Rhovane has changed it looks like Apo (blue exterior white inside.) these work only for 2-3hrs. and I need to take more as in when I've tried the Apo. ????? are the changes made significant only to me??? Can I still get original immovane??
Is there something else I can take. Perhaps it may be helpul
for you to know. I live a healthy lifestyle.I eat good + and walk for 30 to 60 minutes 4-5 times a week. HELP

I would ask your doctor about longer  lasting sleep medications that include the drug benadryl, which has been proven to be both effective and safe.  Tylenol pm has benadryl, and it is over the counter. You will have to ask your pharmacist about the availability and doses of the other medications you mentioned.

I take 200-300 mg of Valerian Root on nights where my anxiety makes it hard to sleep (and stay asleep).  With those other drugs you are taking I would be careful and ask your doctor.  DO NOT TAKE Valerian as well as a benzodiazepine like Ativan or Klonopin.
