No the slurred speech did not persist. It was daily for about 5 or 6 days but nothing since. Symptoms since then have been the numbness and tingling, shartp head pains. and tremors but those ramp up when I am nervous. I have to get to the bottomr of all of this.
btw, I am a 43 mother of 2, and in the last 3 months have moved into a new house with my boyfriend and his son, have gone through the process of selling mine so been dealing with some change
Hi!
Is the slurred speech still persisting? Extreme tiredness, high fever, hypoglycemia or low blood sugar, high blood sugar, kidney problems causing brain fog, liver problems causing brain fog, low electrolytes, very high blood pressure, alcohol or drug intoxication, etc can all cause slurred speech.
Apart from brain related causes like stroke, transient ischemic attack, brain tumor, bleed etc, it can also be due to sickle-cell anemia, Wilson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis or lead/mercury poisoning.
Please discuss with your doctor in light of these suggestions. Also please consult a therapist/counselor/psychologist to check whether you have any anxiety, depression and other such issues.
I sincerely hope you will find this information useful in your journey towards better health.
Hope you get well soon! Good Luck and take care!
