Brownish Coloration on foreskin and around tip of the penis

Recently i had unprotected intercourse with a sex worker as my condom broke on its tip.

During the next few days i noticed a brownish coloration on the foreskin and around the tip of the penis, and an occasional itching sensation. I have no burning sensation as i pee, neither any discharge, also i took PEP medication for AIDS.

The brownish area has not increased in size and i can't honestly say that it wasn't there before.

I have consulted a general physician, that ruled out any worries regarding STD's. Even though i'm not absolutely convinced, i would much appreciate if you could perhaps identify possible causes for this in a dermatologist point of view.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms the possibility of balanoposthitis, fungal infection, lichen planus and dermatitis skin should be ruled out. . Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. In case the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
