Promiseb vs. Desonide cream

Using Promiseb works well for me, but my insurance does not cover prescriptions for it, and trial sizes are not always available at my Dermatologist. I was able to get Desonide cream filled and wondered if I should expect any good results from Desonide. Is it at all comparable to Promiseb in helping with Rosacea?

My dermatologist prescribed the Desonide as I have seborehhic dermatits and some rocesea on my face. First she gave me promiseb which really works but when she wrote meca prescription My insurance would not cover the Promiseb. But it did cover Desonide. The Desonide does not seem to be working. In fact some other problems are apparent after using it one day. Almost out of the Promiseb. Back to the Dermatologist to see if they have any trial sizes available.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Promiseb is a nonsteroidal prescription cream indicated to manage and relieve the signs and symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis whereas desonide is a topical steroid cream. You should use topical steroids only after prescription from a doctor and under medical supervision.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. Treatment can be started only when the diagnosis is confirmed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
