Hello,
Sometimes there may be accidental scratching of the mole. If the mole is suspicious then you can show it your dermatologist and he may examine it as well as biopsy it. Other than that there is nothing much to worry. Sometimes melanocytes left behind in the wound regrow in an abnormal pattern. This is accompanied by scarring, inflammation, and blood vessel changes and this both the clinical and histologic impression of a melanoma. Hence get it examined from your doctor.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Do not worry but do show your derm the area that was removed accidentally, so that he can biopsy or do a dermoscopy, incase he has any suspicion.ok?
