Can undigested grease cause acne

I am currenty having issues with grease not digesting that I am seeing a Dr. about. However I was curious if this could also cause acne? I never was one to get acne on my face nor front side though I did on my rear as well as my back.  Since my issue began I have noticed that I am getting alot of pimples on my face, neck, chest & shoulders. Could my other issue cause this? I am not on any medication nor have I changed soaps.

Hello,
There are many factors which can contribute to the development of acne. Some bacteria growing on the skin produce substances that cause redness and irritation and enzymes which dissolve the sebum on skin which act as irritants. It can also be due to the enlargement and dilation of a plug that forms from oil and flakes of skin inside the hair follicle. Lastly it can be due to hormonal influence and overproduction of sebum by the sebaceous glands. Skin on the face, chest, and back has an especially large number of sebaceous glands. These are the areas where acne occurs. Diet is not a cause of acne but can be a contributing factor. So avoid taking any excess fatty diet and consult a dermatologist for the topical treatment of acne.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
