Strange-Itchy scratch like rash on my lower back

I have a scratch on my lower back. I have no clue where it came from. It itches sooooo bad. I have had it for almost a week. And i don't want to go to the Dr. unles it's absolutely neccesary. So if anyone has ever had something like this and knows FOR SURE what it is please, please, please let me know ASAP! Thanks soooo much!
