I do not think it is any of those things because the hair growth is only not too excessive. As i previously stated i believe it was caused by my use of topical steroids found in the cream that i used for my Exzema. Other than electrolysis and laser treatment are their other ways for permanent removal?

Thanx

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For facial hair, temporary hair removal can be achieved through depilation or epilation. Permanent means of hair removal by electrolysis and laser treatment are also useful.

But if there are excess body hair then hirsutism needs to be ruled out. Although hirsutism in not regularly found in males but it is not always so. Adrenal tumors and dysfunction are the commonest causes of hirsutism in males. Adrenocortical tumors are almost always malignant in patients who present with hirsutism. The other common cause is of Cushing’s syndrome. I suggest you to consult an endocrinologist in that case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I just did some research and found out that Topical Steroids in creams like the ones I use for my Excema actually promote hair growith.I suspect that this might be a cause of the unusual hair growth on my cheeks and am also wondering how I can reverse this if it is at all possible

Thx
