Facial itching

for the last few days I have experienced this strange feeling on my face. It feels as if the hair on my face is sort of standing on end. Like if have goose bumps on my face. I have  several very small sores on my face (they started our as  what looked like a  very tiny pimple but when I poped them nothing came out) the feeling is around my mouth chin and lower cheek, and also around my nose. I also have a rusty like taste in my mouth. What is going on? Thank you in advance.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

The symptoms can be due to vit B12 deficiency.Other possibilities are diabetes or thyroid disorders.Pls take some  mutivitamins for some days and see if the symptoms persist. The small bumps can be due to folliculitis.
Pls keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Also exfoliate the skin at regular intervals with a mild exfoliant. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful in folliculitis. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case.

I hope that helps.Kind regards.
