Pea shaped red spot on sulcus area of penis

Hello,
I have noticed a red spot on the head of my penis that is concerning me. It is pea shaped and resides on the sulcus area (just the start of the head), it is not raised and isn't causing any pain to the touch. I have had it at least 6 months maybe more, and am unsure when it appeared (I could have had it my whole life but never noticed, I'm just not sure)
I recently also have had some ulcers on my tonsils which led me to HPV sites and then later to penis cancer web pages which described discoloration as a first sign. I know discoloration is a possibility of many other things, and I am without insurance at the moment so just wanted an opinion before I go get it checked out. Thank you for taking the time to review my question.

I also have a very similar looking spot on the rim of my penis head.  It began to occur during a period of strenous masturbation where I was utilizing techniques like jelquing and stretching and mostly focusing on extended periods of masturbation edging.  I'm certain that I damaged the skin or blood vessels during this period and, as the others have mentioned, the spot definitely becomes more noticeable after erection or masturbation, but never completely disappears during periods of inactivity.  There is no pain, discomfort or flaking of skin in the area.  Is this permanent damage to the blood vessels in the area, perhaps??

The only other concern I have is that this is early stage of cancer.  Can anybody comment on the liklihood of this?

I have something similar to this, only there are a few very small red areas on the sulcus ONLY after sex, masturbation (having an erection, in general). Other than that, the spots are pretty normal colored while I do not have an erection. No pain, itching, burning or any other weird symptoms. I have also put white vinegar on the spots numerous times with no change in color, so I'm fairly certain they aren't warts (seeings how I've never had sex with anyone that had them)... that was just me being overly paranoid. As a matter of fact, these red spots only became REALLY visible after I had an hour of masturbation from a former girlfriend. These spots have not changed or gotten any bigger for nearly a year now. Is it possible it could be the blood vessels in the penis reacting a certain way now? Any feedback from REAL doctors is much appreciated.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This spot on the penis which has been present for quite some time looks like dermatitis skin. Repeated skin irritation or friction rub with clothes could have caused it. The other possibility is of psoriasis skin. Psoriasis is a long-term (chronic) skin problem that causes skin cells to grow too quickly, resulting in thick, white, silvery, or red patches of skin.It is thought that psoriasis occurs when the immune system overreacts, causing inflammation and flaking of skin.
I sincerely advise you to discuss these possibilities with your doctor.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
