Hives around eyes and itchy burning palms

Hi I'm a 30 year old woman, and for the last couple of months I've been getting hives around my eyes. I've cleaned all makeup brushes, stopped using the eyecream I was using, am avoiding applying anything to the area at this point and nothing seems to be working. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and had this excessive burning and itching in my palms that has yet to go away and have more hives around my eyes than usuall. I'm not sure if the two have anything to do with each other, but am wondering if anyone has experinced these two symptoms together or have heard of such a thing and may know what the case may be.

I have the same problem occuring here with my fiance as well.  Any help in this area would be awesome.  She is so miserable that it kills me seeing her this way.  Please let me know if anything comes up that people find to have worked.

Thanks

I have the same problem. Funny thing is i can use a product on my face for months and suddenly out of nowhere i will develop an allergy to it. For example, i used a face wash with benzoyl peroxide for 5 months with no problems and the one morning i woke up and my eyes were swollen with hives. Now anytime i use anything on my face with that ingredient i get hives around my eyes. A few days ago I washed my hair with head and shoulders ( a shampoo i randomly use all the time) and woke up the next morning once again with hives around my eyes. It is crazy because i can use a product for months, even years and suddenly out of nowhere i develop a new allergy and have to eliminate these product

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Hives result from dilation of capillaries allowing fluid to leak out into the surrounding tissue, the epidermis. They are of two types:acute and chronic(when hives persist for more than 6 weeks). The most likely triggers for acute urticaria are allergies to pets, horses, latex and foods, such as shellfish and nuts, bee or wasp stings, allergies to medicines,Viral infections, such as glandular fever and herpes, dental and sinus infections, fungal infections, blood transfusions and vaccines.

The cause of chronic urticaria is often more difficult to identify. Most cases are called chronic idiopathic urticaria, which means they're caused by the body's unexplainable development of antibodies to itself (auto-antibodies).
Just check out if it is due to the eye cosmetics or facial cosmetics. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
