Hard lump on my back

I have a hard lump on the left side of my back, close to my armpit but not under it. It appeared before 3-4 months and i thought it will disappear by itself, but it doesn't. It is not painful and the skin around the spot doesn't have any unusual color, but it's hard on touching. Could this be something serious? I am male, 41 year old.

Just wanted to check to see how you were doing?  Were you able to set up an appointment with your doctor at all?

Anytime you get a lump and you aren't sure what it is from- I'd encourage you to get it looked at.  It's a good sign that it's not painful or changing, and no odd colors- but it never hurts to have a doctor take a look.
