If I wanted to do laser hair removal, how many sessions would I have to do just for one area, or would it take only one?

Thank you for your question. It takes around 5 to 6 treatments to achieve the complete reduction of hairs permanently. It only works on actively growing hairs , so it is always recommended to take 5 to 6 session treatments to treat an area with the laser.

Laser hair removal would require multiple sittings depending upon the area where the laser hair reduction is to be done. You should consult a good dermatologist and discuss the pros and cons with him. Most patients need a minimum of seven treatments. The number of sessions depends on various parameters, including the area of the body being treated, skin color, coarseness of hair, reason for hirsutism, and gender.
