Little hard bumps

I have little hard bumps on my forearms, legs, thighs, and now on my hips. I used a petty egg to scrap them off and then where the bumps are it turned pinkish. I applied lotions and soaked in oatmeal and they never did go away and would come back. Then I visited my daughter in florida and we went to the beach often I was there for almost a month and noticed they had almost gone. When I came back to Nebraska and stopped going to the pool I noticed they are coming back. I thought it might be dry skin but, it is not. I thought it maybe scabies but, they are not as I did have them one time. I am washing everything once again and going to use the petty egg and soak in oatmeal with tree oil as this does keep the itching down. I apply a lotion for very dry skin. This time they are even showing up on my belly.
I will be going to the doctors soon so, maybe he will know what this is! Can anyone relate to this? Does anyone have an answer or idea what to try? I don't have very much money as I am disabled and not working.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to irritated hair follicles, heat rash or sweat dermatitis. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I find it interesting that your experience in the florida sun nearly cleared your skin of these mysterious bumps.  As you may be aware, the sun provides our bodies with doses of Vitamin D.  Could it be that without the sun, you're not getting enough vit. D, therefore your skin is reacting with these symptoms?  Just a hunch.  When you go to the doctor, have him run blood tests that check the levels of vit. D.  You may need OTC supplements if its low, which could help with the bumps. Good luck!
