Long term Minocycline (cynomycin)

I am 28 years male from India . I was a body builder.I had really bad acne problem on my face and back, tried everything but nothing worked except this tablet cynomiycin. I have been taking cynomycin 50 mg two times a day since 10 years and may have stoped it for a while on and off. I heard from a friend that it may have had adverse effects on my body because i have been taking it for such a long time. he said i should get my body checked up. I am really scared. I have experienced sharp pain under my right ribs and upper right chest since 6 years. I have done several tests like ultra sound and blood, urine test but the doctor said every thing is fine. I am really worried what is this pain that comes and goes. I have noticed if I run too fast on a trade mill for more than 20 mins i start getting this pain. I have all kind of thoughts coming to my mind. I don't have a health insurance so i have not been to a doctor since past 2 years. I am going to stop taking cynomycin now but I am worried about the potential damage it may have caused to my body. I feel very healthy except this pain on my right upper rib and chest. Please advise me which test i should perform to know if i am alright. I am self employed. Please also advise which health insurance do you think have a great plan and is effordable.

I am getting married soon people so please pray for me. I hope every thing is fine with me.

Thanks

Hi i was burned with boiling water at the age of 2. I received third degree burn marks white in color throughout my left arm. I want to know if there are any treatments available so i can finally get rid of them.

Yes, I think everything is likely to be fine.  The kind of pains you describe do not sound at all related to minocycline.  They also don't sound serious, because you've had them for 6 years and had negative tests.  Still, I think that you may not need the minocycline anymore.  I can't advise you on health insurance, but it might be worth investing a few hundred dollars on visits to a general physician and a skin doctor, just to assess how you are.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage, and best of luck.
