Maybe an angioma?

I have what I thought was a mole in my groin, but after looking around on the internet I'm not so sure. Its skin colored but is sometimes a little more red/purple (not bright). Its smooth, soft, about garden pea sized and has the stuck-on look - like a big skin tag. I'm a 30yr old healthy white male if thats relevant? So is it an angioma, mole, skin tag? It hasnt bled, is not crusty or hard, and does not look remotely like any skin cancer examples I've seen. I did have a mole removed from my groin once (not a problem, just bothered me) but I can't even remember which side it was. Thats about all I can think of.

That kind of sounds like what I had on my upper-inner thigh. It was flesh colored, sometimes a little red, and once and a while itched. I showed my Dermatologist- who biopsied it, which came back to be atypical (cells were changing) so he removed it and now I have a lovely scar. But, I didn't think it was anything to be wooried about, because just like you mentioned, it didn't look like all the pics they tell you to watch out for. Go see a Dr. just to make sure.

Sounds like a skin tag. The color may be purplish due to the area and rubbing from clothing. The dr can freeze it off with liquid nitrogen or cut, scrape and/or suture. Good luck to you.
