Non-itchy rash appearing after traveling

Last week, my boyfriend and I went on vacation to Miami.  We're both 26, healthy and active.  After we flew back, my boyfriend had very small (about the size of a small pimple) bumps on his elbows.  The next day the same sort of bumps showed up on my lips.  They are very small, as I said, and appear the same color as the skin around them and are grouped together sort of like a rash.  They do not itch or cause any sort of discomfort other than that the skin is a bit taut around them.  I have allergies to a number of things and have had plenty of allergic reactions.  This isn't like any of the reactions I've ever had before and the fact that both my boyfriend and I both have similar symptoms leads me to believe that this isn't an allergic reaction.  Just in case it was a new sort of allergic reaction, I took some benadryl (along with my normal singulair and 24 hr. zyrtec) and this did absolutely nothing to assuage the symptoms.  I have been searching the internet and have been unable to find anything that seems to explain these mysterious little rashes.  The symptoms don't match anything other than just general contact dermatitis which is just much too vague to explain anything.  Any suggestions as to what this might be?

We did go to areas with high humidity, however, we are from a place with high humidity, so I'm not sure that there was much change in climate.

Thanks for your answer.  I don't think that it is either of those conditions.  The bumps we are experiencing are much much smaller than those of molluscum contagiosum and also appear in tight clusters.   Also, the bumps do not appear to be fluid filled and show no signs of rupturing as with HSV.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be molluscum or herpes sores. In adults, molluscum infections are often sexually transmitted and can transmit from one site to other skin sites by aoutoinocultaion. Treatment includes physical destruction or manual extrusion of the lesions, cryotherapy, and curettage.

Most individuals have no or only minimal signs or symptoms from HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection. When signs do occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first.

I would suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
