An old mole that is changing

Hello,
I've had this mole since i was born. For the past few years the mole started changing in elevation. Now in the past few days it started developing black parts on it. These parts are crusty and come off if I rub them.
Is this mole dangerous? should it be removed?

Only a doctor will be able to tell you if it needs removed, but if you are seeing changes to the mole- get it checked out.
