Penis itching

I am a 22 y/o male that about 3 weeks ago had unprotected sex with a girl I know and started developing dry skin on my eyelids/ near eyes as well as hands and under the shaft of my penis, which popped up about a week ago. It itches really bad. There is a small bump under the shaft. Do I have an STD, and what should I do to treat all of this?

Hello,

I cannot confirm anything without examination, but the various possibilities for your symptoms are dry skin(xerosis),eczema or fungal infections. Also since a lump has appeared on your penis,STD’s and herpes have to be ruled out.

You can apply a mild steroid cream or calamine lotion to the affected area. Oral antihistamine, such as Benadryl can also be used. You should take a comfortably cool bath and wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. Covering the affected area with bandages and dressings can help protect the skin and prevent scratching. You should choose mild soaps without dyes or perfumes and use a mild, unscented laundry detergent when washing clothes, towels and bedding.

Pls take a second opinion from a dermatologist if the symptoms persist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
