41 yo. and new mole?

I noticed new mole on my dorsal forearm some 7- 8 months ago. It might have been there longer, because it is 1 mm diameter and looks like dot made by pencil tip. it looks more darker when looking from angle than from straight up. Elevation is barely noticeable and does not felt anyway when touched with finger. it is not changed, at least not so much i can notice with bare eye.

Is it normal to get new moles in my age? Should i worry?

Hi and welcome. Doctors recommend a complete body visual for all things at least once every few years. Its very simple. You lay on a table and the doc looks at every inch of your body for abnormalites. I think its time you had this done to make sure. Needless worry causes stress.

Oh, and i must add that this mole, if it is one, seems to be partially under the skin. That is why it looks dark or lighter when looking from different angles
