Purple colored Lips

I had flea bites on my legs and chest area, I put hydrocortizone on them and broke out in a rash.  I was given medication from my doctor.  The rash cleared up but my lips turned purple, are very dry and sometimes burn.  What could be the cause of that?

Hello,
It looks like a drug induced dermatitis or allergy. Drink plenty of water and take multivitamin supplements and do not apply lipstick or other cosmetic products for some days. Use a humidifier to moisturize the air in your home and apply shea butter or Vaseline on your lips.

Treatment is by topical steroids or oral therapy of corticosteroids in severe cases.Topical creams like tacrolimus ointment (Protopic) and pimecrolimus cream (Elidel) are also useful.

May be just a chelitis.Vaseline application should do.
