Red bumps started appearing on my face/scalp and few on my upper chest

Good day, hopefully I'm posting in the correct section. Anyway, I'm a 25yr old male and for the past 7 days several red bumps started appearing in my face. I'm not sure what it is but here are some images:

At first I wasn't that much worried but after several days they seem to increase in number, starting from 1 bump in my forehead + 1 bump in my cheek. Today I can start to feel them in my scalp as well around 4-5 bumps + several small bumps on my lower cheek towards the neck area + 1 in upper chest. They don't itch or anything, although sometimes it stings when I sweat at the gym. And after taking a shower it feels really dry.

Some of them subsided but it left the area very dry (see 4th image)

Anyone know what these are or any advice on a temporary over the counter (or order online) product which I can use. I've no insurance (even if I had it probably wont be covered anyway) so I'm trying to find a easy solution for now.

A little history: Last time I went to see a dermatologist was 3 yrs ago (for acne) and was prescribed this cream: Desowen Lotion (Desonide). The doc told me that what I had back was more of skin irritation/redness. Been using this lotion every other day since then. Doesnt seem to work on my current condition.

Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately the pictures could not be opened but from the symptoms folliculitis needs to e ruled out. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
