Red 'pinched-like' spot on Leg.

I have had blood blisters on my hands before and I know what they look like, but this is like a flat blood blister that is on my inner thigh where the sensitive skin is.  Nothing has pinched it or has poked me there recently.  So, could it be a blood blister or could it be cancer?  It was a rich dark red and kind of spread out in a larger area like I pinched it and now it's more together in a flat round bubble that is lighter in color.  This change happened all in a matter of 30 minutes after I noticed it.  I didn't see it there a few hours ago.  I poked it when I noticed it and it felt like it sunk in a little bit.  When it changed it's like a tiny little knot that can be pressed on, almost like a whitehead pimple.  Has anyone had one of these or know what it may/could be?

It went away while I was sleeping that night.  Over a matter of 3 hours it came to a circular blister and started to lighten in color a bit.  When I got up in the morning it was gone with no proof of it being there, not even a brown discolored spot or a bruise.  I might have poked it with something and didn't realize it.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It could have been due to some trauma to the skin, pupuric spot or a hematoma under the skin. Purpura is a red or purple discoloration on the skin that does not blanch on pressure. It should go away on its own, but if it persists or grows in size then a dermatologist’s evaluation is required.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
