Small bumps on the head of my penis

I have a question concerning some small bumps on the head of my penis. There is no white top or anything on them. They are not pinful at all and do not cause me any discomfort. It started out as just one little bump and after several weeks of it not going away i picked the top off of it and a little bit of blood came out. It started to go away, but now there are around 5 of them on the head of my penis. Some are bigger than others, and if pick the top off there is a hallow hole in the inside that a little bit of blood comes out of. I have a girlfriend but she has been tested and does not have anything and she is the only girl i've ever had sex with. So I do not think it is an STD but I am not sure. I was thinking it could be an infection maybe?

Hello,
Without external examination it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but the various possibilities for your symptoms are folliculitis(might only be felt as small lumps in the skin commonly with a hair arising from centre) , pearly penile papules(multiple, small (about 1-3mm) papules running around the circumference of the crown of the glans penis) , Fordyce spots (small (1-5mm) bright red or purple papules that can appear on the penis and usually effect younger men) or cysts.

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
For these scars, it is better to avoid using anything on the penis like topical acids, chemical epels etc. Microdermabrasion can also be done, but this might require several sessions.  Skin resurfacing using lasers is also an option.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Thank you for replying. They have have gotten much better since i posted this without me doing anything to them. I changed what soap I was using in the shower and it seems to maybe have helped. Many in fact have gone away, but there are little scars where they were.
