What can this mean?

I last had sex october 3rd with a guy I sort of knew. We wore a condon DEFINENTLY, but he did perform oral sex on me. He didn't have any cole sores I know for certain becuase I would have noticed and I would have gotten a cole sore seen as we were kissing before the oral sex. One night I got off work, this was probably around nov. 1st and i felt itchy arpound the opening to my vagina. a week later I noticed that around my opening there felt to be cuts or dry skin or something. a couple days later a little further up I felt a large bump and I itched it quite a bit then I started to notice smaller bumps around it. Now that I have stopped itching it is starting to go away but it has been about 2 1/2 weeks. I had sex without a condom about 6 months prior to this. I am worried it could be herpes because the timing sounds about right and the itchy bumps sound familiar but could i get that from oral sex if he doesn't have a cole sore? or could i all of a sudden just have it after 6 months? and if not herped what else could it be.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Definitely from your symptoms STD’s need to be ruled out. The only way of ruling it out is by getting yourself tested for genital herpes. Laboratory tests include: culture of the virus, direct fluorescent antibody (DFA) studies to detect virus, skin biopsy, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to test for presence of viral DNA. I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist and get it ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Yeah you should go to the drs to be tested, herpes is a skin to skin contact STD so unfortunately even a condom can't guarantee you wont become infected. The surrounding skin is also affected. I hope you end up being alright hun.
