Tiny red bumps all over underside of arms

There are tiny red bumps all over the underside of my arms and tiny patches of rough, red skin. They are heavily irritated and causing me problems throughout the day. I first tried applying hydrocortizone which did nothing, then i tried moisturizer and anti-itch creme, which has also done nothing. This simply suddenly appeared out of no where, and no one in my family has suffered from this before. Is this something I should see a doctor about? I need this problem fixed badly.

Hi there.

I had this checked out by a doctor, and it turns out it is scabies. As per my doctor's orders, I applied Permethrin last night, and have been putting on Hydrocortizone Valerate 0.2%, along with a prescription of Claritin to reduce the itchyness. I was also instructed to wash all of my sheets and bedding, as well as clothing, in hot water, and then to put them in a hot dryer.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be to dermatitis, heat rash or sweat dermatitis. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort. For the itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken.

In case the symptoms persist then Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
