Is this a new spot?  I have a raised, small redish (maybe peach colored, :))  spot on the side of my nose that is not really visible unless you are looking.  My dermatologist says it is harmless.  However, it's important to get things checked out.  The nose is in the sun a lot.  It's exposed to the harmful sun's rays in such a way that it's a prime spot for skin cancer.  This likely isn't, but important to have a doctor take a look.  Again, my issue is just a spot and it has been there, not grown or done anything for over 20 something years.  But you will want to rule out any  one of the three types of skin cancer and go from there.  Do NOT pick at it.  good luck

Everyone has spots here and there that appear, but as far as if this is good or bad- we can't really say with so little information.  If the spot isn't hurting, growing, changing, itching- it's likely fine.  Your best bet to know for sure is to head to your doctor for a quick look- they can tell a lot more from an in person exam, where they can ask questions then anyone can from an online post.
