What is the best way to let a cut and/or a pimple heal under facial hair?

Suppose I receive a small cut under under my mustache that is about 4mm long, 1mm wide, and 1mm or less deep, and that it is bleeding but that has stopped.

To avoid scarring and promote healing, should I trim or shave, or would that not make a difference?

Also, I occasionally get tiny pimples under facial hair due sugar consumption. I usually pop these. Same question, to avoid scarring and promote healing, should I trim or shave, or would that not make a difference?

Shaving may help the healing as far as it's likely easier to keep the area clean- but it wouldn't really make a difference in if it scars or not.  You can put vitamin E oil on the cut if that is a big concern- but what you are describing sounds like normal little things that will heal up as long as they are not picked at.
